Today's bands...
The Rooks: Home grown in Glasgow and playing not just their first set at TRNSMT but their first festival set ANYWHERE... EVER! Think big, stadium filling, anthem tunes in the guise of Kings of Leon and Stereophonics.
Dictator: A band that march to their own tune... and what a tune! Dictator are a stand out on the Scottish music scene at the moment and their new re-mix EP twists their recent releases even further!
Cliffords: A comparison to the Cardigans would be lazy... but we're going to make in anyway as there is a definite hint of that legendary band about Cliffords who bring the vibe bang up to date. A very highly rated band from over the Irish sea.
Freshly Squeezed is written, researched and hosted by Jim Salveson. Additional sound design and production support from Ant McGinley. The show's theme tune 'Blue Blazer' is from Manchester's Spin Klass.
With thanks to Alex Garrick-Wright and Jennifer Johnson for their excellent voice work.
